As the new school year was just around the corner, Pangangan National High School, together with the different volunteers from inside and outside of the island, started to show once again the true meaning of teamwork and solidarity through the Brigada Eskwela 2025. The collaboration started on June 8 – 13, 2025 where different barangays and grade levels where assigned to do the job:
June 8 – Bohol Farmers and Fisherfolks Association
June 9 – Brgy. Talisay (Grade 7, SSLG)
June 10 – Brgy. Kahayag and Kinabag-an (Grade 8
June 11 – Brgy. Lomboy and Looc (Grade 9)
June 12 – Brgy. Lawis and Magtongtong (Grade 10)
June 13 – Brgy. Madangog (Grade 11 & 12)
June 14 – 3 Lions Kapatiran Corp. (3L), and Guardians (Cabayugan Chapter)
The work started at eight in the morning and ended at five in the afternoon each day. The volunteers helped in cleaning the classrooms, repainting the walls, fixing broken chairs and tables, and arranging the learning materials. Despite the scorching heat of the sun, students, teachers, parents, and all the volunteers worked together with smiles on their faces. The volunteers did not only extend their time, efforts, and helping hands but also shared their generous hearts when they also donated cleaning materials such as brooms, soaps, and disinfectants.
Indeed, Brigada Eskwela is not just about cleaning days but it is more of a symbol of unity among the people of Pangangan. This proves that even a small act of help can create a big chance. In this event, everyone became a part of something meaningful.
Thanks to everyone who helped and supported the program for the benefits of the PNHS community, PNHS is now ready to welcome the new school year in a clean, safe, healthy and inspiring environment. Together, we build not just classrooms but a better future!
